Professor Jenkins has been a thoracic physician for over 30 years for patients with a variety of lung diseases. Professor Jenkins leads respiratory clinical trials at The George Institute and is a Chief Investigator on a grant on bushfire smoke effects in lung disease. Professor Jenkins has been an author on a number of papers relating to bushfire effects that occurred in 2019-2020.
